The messaging feature enables buyers and sellers to communicate directly through the platform regarding their orders and related questions. It is designed to improve transparency, reduce claims, and enhance user satisfaction by fostering better communication.

How does the messaging feature work?

  • A new chat is automatically opened for every order, allowing buyers and sellers to exchange messages related to the transaction.

  • Chats are organized under the "Inbox" menu, making it easy to manage all communications in one place.

  • Notifications for unread messages will appear as pop-ups on the platform and will also be sent via email.

  • If an order is completed, the chat will close.

What options are available to manage chats?

Users can manage chats using the following features:

  • Mark chats as archived, read, starred, or mute them.

  • Filter chats by criteria such as order details, event name and location, seller name, or keywords within the chat.

  • Search for specific chats or messages using the provided filters.

How will I know when I receive a new message?

You’ll be notified about new messages through:

  • A notification pop-up on the platform's user interface.

  • An email alert sent to your registered email address.

Chats with unread messages will also appear at the top of your chat list in the "Inbox."

Why is this feature beneficial?

This messaging system enhances the user experience by:

  • Providing a centralized communication channel for all orders.

  • Increasing transparency between buyers and sellers.

  • Allowing quick resolution of issues, which may reduce claim rates.

  • Offering tools for effective chat management, improving overall satisfaction.

By ensuring all communication happens within the platform, the feature also helps maintain compliance with Ticombo's rules and policies.
